Time-Out and Cooling-Off

What Happens During a Time-Out

While a time-out is active, your jalevo account is fully suspended. You will not be able to log in, make deposits, place bets, or access any game. Any funds in your account at the time the time-out is activated remain safe and will be available for withdrawal when the time-out ends. All marketing communications from jalevo — promotional emails, SMS messages, and WhatsApp notifications — are suspended for the duration of the time-out.

Time-outs cannot be shortened once activated. If you request a 30-day time-out, the account will remain suspended for the full 30 days regardless of any subsequent requests to lift it early. This is a deliberate design feature to protect you from impulsive decisions.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is the most serious player protection tool available on jalevo. It is designed for players who recognise that their gambling has become genuinely harmful and who wish to permanently remove access to the platform for a significant period of time. Self-exclusion is a firm commitment — not a pause — and jalevo treats it as such.

How Self-Exclusion Works

When you request self-exclusion, your jalevo account is closed immediately. You will not be able to create a new account using the same personal details — name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, or NID number — for the duration of the exclusion period. Any remaining balance in your account at the time of exclusion will be returned to you via your registered payment method.

During Self-Exclusion

All marketing communications are permanently stopped. jalevo will make every reasonable effort to identify and close any duplicate accounts registered under the same personal details. If you believe a duplicate account has been opened in error during your exclusion period, contact our support team immediately. If jalevo discovers that a player under self-exclusion has opened a new account, that account will be closed and any winnings accrued will be forfeited in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

Returning After Self-Exclusion

At the end of a time-limited self-exclusion period, your account will not automatically reopen. You must proactively contact the support team, confirm your intention to resume play, and agree to a mandatory 24-hour reflection period before access is restored. jalevo will not contact you to invite you back, and no promotional materials will be sent to encourage re-engagement.

Reality Checks

Extended gaming sessions can blur the sense of time and money passing. Reality checks are periodic on-screen alerts that interrupt your session to display key information: how long you have been playing, your net result for the session (wins minus losses), and your current account balance. The purpose is straightforward — to give you accurate, real-time information so that you can make a conscious choice to continue or to stop.

Configuring Reality Checks

Reality check frequency can be set in Account Settings under the Responsible Gaming section. Available intervals are: every 15 minutes, every 30 minutes, every 60 minutes, or every 2 hours. When a reality check triggers, the session is briefly paused and a summary is displayed. You must actively acknowledge the reality check before play resumes — it cannot be dismissed passively.

Session Loss Alerts

In addition to time-based reality checks, jalevo also provides optional session loss alerts. You can set a net loss threshold — for example, ৳2,000 per session — at which point a reality check is triggered automatically regardless of how long you have been playing. This feature is particularly useful for high-energy games like live baccarat, live roulette, or rapid-fire slot titles where large swings can occur quickly.

We recommend all players, regardless of experience level, to enable at least a 60-minute reality check. It takes a few seconds to configure and can make a meaningful difference to your long-term enjoyment of the platform.
